How we

Grow

Leave the earth in a better place

This is our goal in all we do — including our growing practices. We make both our community and our land better by cultivating ethically-grown, small-batch cannabis with love and intention.

Regenerative living soil

At Farmhouse Cannabis, we focus on feeding the soil and not the plant, relying on the natural ecosystems of bacteria and fungi (the soil food web) to help produce healthy plants. We use no-till regenerative practices, combined with composting and vermicomposting, to support a biologically-active microbiome.

Natural cannabis

We partner with Mother Nature to bring our community the most organic, natural and clean flower possible.  We develop closed loop systems that allow us to feed the soil from our own backyard. Our small footprint allows us to care for each individual plant and give them the specialized attention they need.   The majority of our inputs are fermented and extracted in-house.

Some of the natural inputs we make on-farm include:

  • WCA (Water Soluble Calcium)

  • WSP (Water Soluble Phosphorus)

  • IMO (indigenous microorganisms)

  • Thermophilic compost

  • Mesophilic compost (Johnson Su Bioreactor)

  • Bokashi

  • FFJ (fermented fruit juice)

  • FPJ (fermented plant juice)

  • JLF (jadam liquid fertilizer)

  • JMS (jadam microbial solution)

  • LAB (lactic acid bacteria)

  • FAA (fish amino acids)

  • Vermicompost
